Question: I have auditioned with a particular casting director for a dozen of times but not even a single audition got converted into the job. Is it OK if I don't go for the audition anymore when I get calls from them?
Answer: You must be a good actor if you get an audition to invite again and again from a particular casting director, this only means the CD likes your look and skill. Please understand a casting director's job is to audition people who fit the look and character but the selection is something which is altogether in hands of the client/director/creatives. An actor should go for the maximum audition he is invited for because that means you have a chance, if you don't go for the audition then definitely you won't have a chance.
Remember, an audition invitation is not an accident by the casting director!
